About the Map: Miami in the ’80s
We have a map consisting of two big islands, a few small islands, and connected to each other by bridges, inspired by the Miami city of the 80s. There are locations of the characters to take missions on the map. For example, Cortez’s place is on a big yacht on the pier, shown on the map as “C,” and Ken Rosenberg, the main character’s lawyer, is shown on the map as “L.” There are also stores where we can buy weapons, properties, and get our car painted.
About Story: A Mix of Chaos and Riches
The story revolves around Tommy’s quests to build an empire in Vice City. As you complete the main missions, new ones become available. For example, there is the Vercetti Estate mission; in this mission, we try to protect the villa given to us. This opens up new missions related to this villa. Apart from that, we also have side missions, such as being a taxi driver. When you get in the taxi and press Caps Lock, the taxi task starts, and you can earn money as you deliver people to the places they want. Additionally, if you buy properties such as Boatyard, Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory, Sunshine Autos, or Malibu Club, new missions will be available for these properties. Once you own most of the city, Sonny Forelli, the main antagonist, personally comes to Vice City to collect his debt from Tommy. After the shootout, Tommy establishes himself as the undisputed crime kingpin of Vice City.
For Me: The Most Interesting Location
The most interesting place on the map for me is the last big island. There is a military base on this island, and you can get military helicopters from here. Apart from this, Starfish Island, where rich people have houses and yachts, is another interesting place because it has an Easter egg. When exploring Starfish Island, head to the first house on the right, and you will find an empty pool in the backyard that has a beach ball inside it. When you run into the beach ball, it will begin to bounce. If you bounce it on your head, numbers will start to appear.
