In this blog, I will talk about the Perron family; this is the most mysterious event in the USA.
The Perron family was a large family. They had five children. In 1971, they moved to a 14-room farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island. At first, this seemed like a good option for a large family.
Strange events began to occur from the moment they moved into the house. At first, the incidents were not very noticeable. The children said they were friends with a spirit and were playing games with it. Carolyn, the mother, dismissed it as childish, but then she noticed that the broom had disappeared, and kitchen utensils were opening and getting dirty on their own. After a while, Carolyn’s legs began to bruise. Carolyn felt very worried in this house, and some of the rooms were freezing.
Finally, they decided to get help. Ed and Lorraine Warren were contacted. Ed was a former police officer who later became a researcher interested in demonology. Lorraine was a medium who claimed to communicate with supernatural beings.
The Warrens considered the house an incredibly complex and intense problem. They said there could be more than one entity in the house; some were harmless, while others were harmful.
The family began researching the history of the house and discovered something interesting. Their research revealed that the house has been passed down through generations, and many of those who lived there met tragic deaths, including child deaths, sudden disappearances, and unexplained suicides.
They said a spirit that had previously lived in this house was trying to enter Carolyn’s body. Lorraine decided to hold a meeting to try and figure out who was inside Carolyn. During the meeting, Carolyn lost control and transformed into someone else. Her voice was like that of a very old woman. The power inside her told Lorraine, “This house belongs to me, that’s why I possessed Carolyn. There were some things I was jealous of,” but no positive effects were seen from the meeting. They had lived in this house for 10 years because of economic difficulties.
This became an unsolved mystery and was made into a film in 2013.
People believe it is a curse from a woman who lived in the same house in the 19th century, and they think the house has become a portal.
In my view, it might be real, but not like that. A spirit can’t enter a woman’s soul.
