Ahmet and Mehmet are twin brothers, but they are very different. Ahmet is quiet and always thinks a lot. Mehmet is brave and very protective.
One day, Mehmet decided to go to a secret place called “Area 51”. He didn’t know why he wanted to go, but he felt he must. He knew Ahmet would say no, so he didn’t tell him. He got his stuff and left. At that moment, Ahmet saw that his brother was acting strangely, so he decided to follow him.
After a long trip, Mehmet stopped in the middle of a desert. Suddenly, an elevator came out of the ground. Mehmet took the elevator. Ahmet ran and jumped in just before the door closed.
The elevator went down rapidly. The brothers were scared. “Why did you follow me?” asked Mehmet furiously.
“To protect you!”said Ahmet. “You never think before you act!”
The door opened. A tall, green creature with black eyes was looking at them. It spoke to Mehmet with a language he could understand: “You are one of us. We have sent you to Earth to learn. Your real brother died when you were born. We put you in his body. Now your job is done.”
Ahmet shouted, “No! I won’t let you take him!”
The creature looked at Ahmet.”You know the truth. Now, you are a problem.” A green light came from the creature’s hand and hit Ahmet. He fell to the ground. “Mehmet…” he said silently, and then he stopped moving.
Mehmet screamed. He held his brother’s body and cried.
The creature was not sorry. “Feelings are useless. It is time to come with us,” it said.
The creature took Mehmet’s arm and pulled him. Mehmet tried to fight, but he was not strong enough. He looked back one last time at Ahmet, alone in the desert. His heart was broken. He was not a real human, and he was not one of them. He was lost, taken away to a future he did not know.
