A DREAM TRIP: The People’s Republic of China (PRC)

The People’s Republic of China (PRC), or China for short, is the largest country in East Asia. Because of this, China has 14 neighboring countries: North Korea, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Laos, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, India, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Bhutan. Approximately 1.412 billion people live in China. Such a huge population means a lot of different languages, but 70% of the people speak Mandarin. The currency is the Chinese yuan. In this post, I will be your guide on your dream trip to China.

DESTINATION: CHINA

First, choose the best place to stay. You can look at accommodation websites for it. The next step is setting off. Because of China’s geographical location, you can use different types of transportation to get there. The plane is the most preferred one. If there is no ocean between your country and China, it is possible to go by train and bus. You can search for the best sale of tickets on the internet.

THE TRIP BEGINS

Okay, we are in China now, but what should we do? Let’s go sightseeing! China has four unique cities to visit:

HONG KONG

Hong Kong, in Chinese, means ’’Fragrant Harbor’’. We can say that it is a harbor city that has developed through its fame for trade. It is a cosmopolitan city, so you can see multi-culturality here. The city looks like it doesn’t belong to our time; skyscrapers are everywhere, and walking among the city lights might create a unique experience.

GUILIN

If you want to feel nature in your veins, there are lots of places for it. For instance, the Li River has an amazing view. You can get on a wooden boat and travel around it. Also, Elephant Trunk Hill is one of the most famous parts of Guilin. The hill resembles a thirsty elephant, which makes it more interesting.

BEIJING

Beijing smells like culture. You can see history, technology, and the culture of religion there. Gubei Water Town is a great place for night walks, and you can also experience amazing accommodation here. The ancient northern architecture of this town is breathtaking. Would you like to touch some of the spiritual roots of China? Confucius Temple will satisfy you. This temple is the picture of East Asia in our minds. Finally, don’t forget to visit the Great Wall, which is one of the historical icons of China.

SHANGHAI

This city is a harbor city like Hong Kong. It is perfect for looking closely at Chinese technology, but if you need some peace in this disorder, Yuyuan Garden is a special place for it. Don’t forget that we are in China. Everywhere is crowded; otherwise, you will be disappointed.

FLAVORS OF CHINA

I see that we are getting tired of traveling; we need to store some energy. Break your prejudices about Chinese cuisine and try some new flavors. It is one of the oldest cuisines in history, and there are lots of traditional dishes to taste.

The Most Popular Chinese Dishes

1. Peking Duck: If you like crunchy, textured meat, this dish is for you. The original method of ”Peking Duck” preparation takes three days, so I can say that it is a laborious meal.

2. Kung Pao Chicken: Could peanuts and chicken be a good duo? Peanut flavor goes well with chicken and vegetables, and creates a unique flavor.

3. Wonton: Wonton soup, whose main ingredients are dough, vegetables, sesame, and soy sauce, is very low in calories.

4. Chow mein: Stir-fried noodles are very popular around the world, but remember that tasting Chinese food in China will be better than your past Chinese cuisine experience!

5. General Tso Chicken: This dish is proof that sweet and spicy can be a great combination with chicken.

Here, my duty as your guide comes to an end, as we are full of China!
