Ali Ne’ma was born in 1971. He is an artist who grew up in a very poor family and did not have the financial stability to study painting academically. His talent was discovered when he was twelve years old, and he pursued his passion for drawing, for which he became famous as a symbol of Iraqi civilization. Ali Ne’ma has painted 76 vibrant impressionistic paintings, and each painting has a distinctive character. Ali Ne’ma is a young Iraqi artist who envisions his presence in modern Iraqi plastic arts.

Above is one of his most famous paintings, representing the Arab dress and the symbol of Arab civilization. Ali Ne’ma is an expert at adding his creative efforts to make things more realistic. For example, as shown in this drawing, some colors are added to the drawing in order for the painter to set apart his artistic creations. I really love the Iraqi painter Ali Ne’ma because he has an artistic relationship between the past and the future. He is of ancient Arab origins, and one of my favorite drawings is of a person receiving his guests by serving Iraqi coffee. Here is a symbol of Iraqi generosity and Arab hospitality.

He imagined this habit in the early seventies, and it continues to this day. This is what I meant by the close link between the past and the future.

Another aspect to consider is that, without any doubt, horses come from Arab origins, as they were the first to use them in previous wars, which makes drawings of horses a special symbol of courage and strength. Below is the drawing in which Ne’ma’s special creativity in visualizing power appeared. This painting is on the wall of my room because it makes me feel proud and strong. It always reminds me not to give up and to renew positive energy.

Ali Ne’ma also describes horses in terms of kindness and loyalty, and he imagined the beginning of their attachment to their owners, like the spouses’ attachment to each other. Horses were the best friends in ancient times and are still today. One of the reasons is that they are quick to move and are brave. These were some of the most important paintings he created, and they were very expressive and famous around the world. This is a reason to love this painter: the diversity of his ideas, which each time highlights his talent in the smallest details.
