All the American media is talking about this incident these days. Ten years ago, a mother was living with her two daughters in a small town in Florida. She lost her husband in a traffic accident and never married again. This woman’s name was Emily Black. Her daughters’ names were Mia and Olivia. Mia was one, and Olivia was three years old. Emily worked at an orphanage as a teacher. This school had lots of babies and children abandoned by their families.

Ten years later, a young man, aged eighteen, came to the police station. He started confessing:
My name is Carl. I am eighteen years old. I came here to confess my crime. My family and I were very happy in our house in Florida, but we were not very rich. One day, a woman knocked on our door. She told us that I was taken from an orphanage. Now, she was here for payback and wanted to take my little sister because of our low socioeconomic status. We were surprised and worried. My father shouted at the woman because we made our living somehow. The woman left our house. Three days later, my little sister and I were playing with toys together in our house. A police officer came to me and said that my father and mother died in a traffic accident on their way home after work. My parents always used a taxi, paid for by the company, to come home after work because our home was so far from the city center. The same woman came to our house again on the night my family died. She told us she would take us to the orphanage. But my sister and I were never taken to the orphanage. She took us to her house. Yes, we were in her house. She took me to the basement floor of the house. She used violence against me every night. I was there alone. I have never seen my sister since we came here. But I could hear her voice every now and then. Every night, she told me what she did. It was her confession. Her name was Emily Black. One year ago, her baby died of cancer. She wanted to take my sister because she looked like her dead baby. She planned my parents’ deaths. Her husband was a taxi driver, and my parents knew him. Every day, her husband gave my family a lift to our house. She knew that, so Emily made a mechanism for her husband’s taxi. The taxi’s brake did not work while driving because of this mechanism, so my parents and her husband died in this accident. She killed all of them. So, I had to plan how to escape this house with my little sister, Mia. Finally, I decided to burn this place down. She thought Mia died in the fire, and we were free. This was the only way I could save my little sister.
Emily was arrested after that day. Later on, Emily and Mia’s DNA tests were compared, and the accident was reinvestigated. The boy was right. Emily did not give birth to Mia. The files of the accident and the accident vehicle were reinvestigated. The woman was a murderer with psychological problems. Nowadays, Emily Black is imprisoned at the Utica Psychiatric Center, an asylum for murderers.
