Five Unknown Common Features of Quentin Tarantino’s Films

Films tell us so many things about their directors, and the directors tell us so many things about themselves in their films. If you read something about the director before watching their movies, you can watch the movie from a very different perspective.

Quentin Jerome Tarantino is one of the best directors in the world. He was born on March 27, 1963. When he was 22, he wrote his first screenplay, Captain Peachfuzz and the Anchovy Bandit. His first famous film, True Romance, was released in 1993. These are important facts about Quentin Tarantino. However, how many people know the common features of Quentin Tarantino’s films? After you read this post, I am sure you will be more interested in his films.

1. Bloody Scenes

Bloody scenes are one of the most well-known features of Quentin Tarantino’s films. He uses those scenes all the time, but not in a conventional way. He generally employs scenes with spurting blood.

2. No Place For Advertising

Quentin Tarantino uses fictitious or obsolete brands in his films because he does not want to advertise known brands in his movies. For example, Big Kahuna Burgers is one of his fictitious brands.

3. Cameo

Quentin Tarantino always plays a small role in his movies. I think he likes to see himself on the screen as well as direct the movie. I agree with him because if I were a director, I would act in my own movies, too!

4. Women’s Feet

One of the distinguishing features in Quentin Tarantino’s films is the use of women’s feet in his movies because he finds women’s feet to be very aesthetic.

5. Mexican Standoff 

In most of the Quentin Tarantino movies, three or more characters point guns at each other at the same time, and he generally makes use of violence and tension in his films.
