The Harry Potter series, through both its books and films, has touched the lives of many people, stimulated their imaginations, and led them to gain new perspectives. In this series, we follow the changes and the course of life of a group of friends. The Wizarding World begins with the opening of Hogwarts’ gates to young wizards. In this universe, young wizards encounter many Hogwarts classes, learn spells, master magic, and are guided by various instructors. Each of these holds a different place in their lives and enriches their journey. Have you ever considered that when we look at our daily lives, we have things in common with the Wizarding World? Here are some common points.
1. Hogwarts Classes
Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Herbology are just a few of the courses offered at Hogwarts. The common goal of these lessons is for each of them to support students on their path to magic. Just like the lessons we learn at school in our daily lives. Throughout our education, we take many courses that prepare us for our profession. Each lesson helps us become more conscious individuals by developing different perspectives.
2. Magic
Wizards use spells, potions, and wands to solve problems. In real life, we use technology to make our lives easier and to cope with problems. For example, while a magician uses magic words to tidy up an area, we achieve this through advancements in technology. In this way, we can automatically handle tasks that magic performs automatically, using technology. With technology, we can create magic in our lives.
3. Spells
When Harry Potter is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is spells. Magic is the very essence of this universe. The goal of all wizards is to learn magic so that they can become powerful wizards. In addition to classes at Hogwarts, wizards spend a lot of time with spellbooks. Harry, Hermione, and many other wizards learn spells through books. Similarly, we learn, research, and improve ourselves through books. Books are a source of information in our daily lives.
4. Mastery
Harry, Hermione, Ron, or Voldemort didn’t become a master overnight. This process is quite long and requires experience. To gain this experience, the wizards practiced for days. In our daily lives, if we want to acquire a skill and become good at it, like magicians, we need to practice. We need a lot of practical experience to improve our skills in the areas we want to study.
5. Wisdom
In the Harry Potter universe, Albus Dumbledore is one of the wisest and most respected wizards. His wisdom illuminates the path for his students. At the same time, many instructors provide various forms of assistance to Harry Potter and his friends on their journey. In our daily lives, knowledge, experience, and good judgment often provide more than just talent. Therefore, having people in our lives whom we can turn to for advice is very important. These people could be instructors, family members, or friends. Seeking the wisdom of these individuals is of great importance in our perspective on problems or in our personal development.
So, these points are just a few of the characteristics that make us similar to magicians. Although places where magic is present may seem brighter and more intriguing, the things that will beautify our lives are hidden in our perspective. Everyone lives in their own magical universe.
