Artificial Intelligence and Music

Artificial intelligence is developing quickly and is doing impressive work in the field of music, as in every field. Let’s talk about it in more depth. Artificial intelligence, or simply AI, is making everything easier, and it makes creating music easier too. Nowadays, everybody can make music using AI music websites such as music.ai, Soundraw, Canva, etc. You just need to choose your music type or types, select which instruments will be used, and decide how long your song is, and that’s all. Your song will be ready in no time, but it might not be as detailed as you wish. But that’s okay because you can change anything you want in the music. If you want to make music with real instruments and music programs, you need to spend a lot of time and money on them, but AI is making it simpler and easier. I believe many music companies will use AI to save both time and money.

So can artificial intelligence make music as impressive as the music made by humans? Even though it is not very impressive now, it can create remarkable music in the future. I know you’re thinking, “AI uses old data and isn’t creative; it just replicates patterns from existing music,” and you’re right. I agree with this idea for now, but it might change in the future because I think creativity is something that develops over time. You need to gather a lot of information and connect it harmoniously. However, AI is not human and, of course, it doesn’t give special feelings to some types of music, but humans could work with AI; they can create much more impressive music with their own ideas and AI’s ideas. With these collaborations, AI can be further developed, and creativity can be increased.

  1. We can clearly see that AI is becoming effective in many areas, including music. Although it still has limits, it can be much better in the future. I agree that AI and humans working together may create great music.
