5 ‘Feel Good Movies’ to watch during your self-isolation days!

1. Love Actually (2003) imdb: 7.9

A  fantastic romantic comedy which gives you the feeling that you are in a fairy tale. In many different fairy tales, actually. It follows the lives of eight very different couples who are in love. Each story provides enough happy endings to make you feel good in a way. And the music, it is the true soul of this movie.

2. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) imdb: 7.3

This is just one of the perfect movies that take the audience away from the real world. It is about a man who wants to get rid of his monotonous life and keeps daydreaming all the time. In his imaginary world, he goes on many adventurous journeys. He realizes everything he wishes in his dreams. That’s what we could do these days, as well.

3. Good Will Hunting (1997) imdb: 8.3

The touching story of a gifted mathematician who needs the support of a psychologist to find his direction in life. The message the film has is universal as it gives people hope.

4. Batman: The Dark Knight (2008) imdb: 9.0

Need a super duper hero? So, ‘Batman, The Dark Knight’ is just for you. Legendary performances of Christan Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as Joker and the extraordinary special effects in the movie will help you take a break from coronavirus updates.

5. Into the Wild (2007) imdb: 8.7

Based on a true story, the film is written and directed by Sean Penn. This is an unforgettable story of a young man who leaves all his possessions behind  and decides to go on his life in the wilderness with the love and longing for nature. It is one of the most ranked movies that is worth watching.

  1. I have watched Good Will Hunting and Batman, the Dark Knight only. But when you say the music of Love Actually is really good, I googled and listened to Dido, one my favourites. Oh, I am what I am. I’ll do what I want… 🙂

  2. Good Will Hunting (starring Robin Williams) is my favourite 🙂 The acting is awesome.
I have also seen Batman The Dark Knight and I can say that you find yourself not breathing for some time while watching. Really worth watching.
Will watch the others during these tough quarantine days.
